About Christmas wreaths and garland
Garland makes up most of this room. Beaded garland in aged red, silver, gold, and garnet; flocked ball strands in cream, brown, and black; vintage-style tinsel in silver, gold, red, blue, and pink; popcorn and cranberry; and round wood beads. For a fuller line of green, there is soft-touch Norfolk pine, weeping cedar, cypress, and mixed pine.
Christmas garland for a mantel can lie flat along the shelf or drape in two loose swags. For Christmas garland on stairs, measure the rail first and allow extra length for each dip.
The wreaths run from a 10-inch cedar ring to a 30-inch flocked pine, with plenty at 22 to 28 inches for a front door. Candle rings lie flat around a pillar or a hurricane in the middle of a table.
How long is the garland?
Most strands are 6 feet. Popcorn, cranberry, wood bead, and some tinsel garlands run 9 feet, and a few greenery garlands are shorter. Each listing gives the exact length.
What size wreath fits a front door?
A wreath 22 to 24 inches across suits a standard front door. None of these are listed as weatherproof, so they’re happiest on a door that stays dry, behind a storm door or under a porch roof.
Is the greenery real?
No. The pine, cedar, hemlock, and mistletoe are faux, so there’s nothing to water and no needles to sweep.
