About faux pumpkins and gourds
Pumpkins in every finish but real. Papier-mâché makes up most of them: tall and short pumpkins in white, gold, orange, and black, dusty orange pumpkins, and big-mouth pumpkins in grey, silver, white, and gold up to 15 inches.
Softer faux pumpkins come in boucle, check fabric, and flocked finishes, and a few light up: ceramic and crackle-glass LED pumpkins, lighted rattan pumpkins, and small skeleton pumpkins.
Faux pumpkins and gourds look more natural grouped in odd numbers and mixed heights. Pumpkin vines, pumpkin planters, and a run of turkeys in white, faded orange, and whitewash carry the table into November.
What sizes do the pumpkins come in?
From 2.75-inch minis to 15-inch big-mouth pumpkins. Many come in two or more sizes of the same finish, so three can step up a mantel or down a table runner.
Do any of them light up?
Yes. The crackle-glass pumpkins and the white ceramic pumpkin have a six-hour timer, the lighted rattan pumpkins take AAA batteries, and the skeleton pumpkins have an on/off switch.
