About this piece
A place for it: Standing in a tall crock by the back door, leaning the way it wants to.
A 39-inch hops stem in sienna, with papery cones that run rust to orange along thin, bending stems and a few green leaves. It is tall enough to stand alone in a floor crock and loose enough to lie along a table. Three stems make a fall arrangement with nothing else in it. Faux, so it holds its color straight through Thanksgiving.
