About flameless Christmas candles
Nearly every candle in this room is flameless, and nearly all of those have a six-hour timer. That means they can sit inside a garland or among faux greenery on a mantel, and they switch themselves off after six hours.
The shapes are made for Christmas: sweater-knit pillars in cream, red, dark green, and taupe; candy-cane pillars; mercury glass in gold, silver, and red; tartan glass; and tree candles in shimmer cream and green. Flameless taper candles come in pairs at 6.75, 7.25, and 9.5 inches.
Hanging and clip-on LED candles come in sets of six with a remote. For the tapers, there are gold trumpet holders, holly candlesticks, and pillar holders shaped like bells, deer, and a small village.
Do these candles have a timer?
Nearly all of them do: a six-hour timer. Turn one on and it stays lit for six hours, then turns itself off.
What batteries do they need?
Most take two or three AA or AAA batteries, which aren’t included unless the listing says so. A few small mercury glass candles take a coin battery that comes with them.
