About lighted Christmas houses
The Christmas village houses here mostly light from inside. There are paper houses dusted with snow, resin gingerbread houses with an on/off switch, ceramic churches, and snowy wood-and-sisal houses.
Sizes run from a 4.75-inch gingerbread house to a 22.5-inch snowy church. One tall church can anchor a mantel while a few small houses follow it along the shelf. Several have a six-hour timer.
A village needs no plan. Start with one house beside a reading chair or on a stair landing, and add a cabin or a church each year. The A-frame and timber-frame cabins are unlit, if you want a quieter piece.
